1. Use online tool to save Twitter videos on iPhone or Mac
- Hit the share icon next to the video tweet.
- Select Copy Link.
For Mac, select Copy link to tweet.
- Visit SSStwitter.com
- Paste the link from the clipboard.
- Hit Download.
- Wait a bit and then select the quality of the video to download.
- Wait for some time for the process to start.
- On iPhone, Select Download. (On Mac, select Save)
You can find the downloaded video inside the Files app on iPhone and in Finder on Mac.
Notes: Apart from the one we have used here, you can use any other online tool for downloading Twitter videos. Just ensure that the websites are malware-free.
2. Save videos from Twitter on iPhone using Shortcuts app
- Visit tvdl.app using Safari on your iPhone or iPad and tap Get the Shortcut.
- Tap Add Untrusted Shortcut.
- Open Twitter and tap the Share icon below a video tweet.
- Tap Share via…
- Tap TVDL v3.1 (This number may be different for you.)
- When the notification appears, tap OK.
- Choose your desired video quality and tap OK.
- Allow the shortcut to access Photos so that it can save the video locally. And you’re done!
