However, sometimes you might want to keep those locations or visits personal. The good news is that your iPhone lets you disable geotagging, so your photos do not have location data.

  2. Tap the i button at the bottom.

  1. I disabled location services for the Camera app on my 12 Pro when I first set it up. It still geotags every photo and video I take. These instructions are straight out of the Apple FAQ, they don’t work, and they provide no value. Have you tested this “fix”?

  2. Hello, the methods given in this article are the only ways to disable geotagging and worked perfectly for me. Try enabling location services and then disabling again. Make sure you are doing this for the camera app. Also, check If other camera apps are installed on your phone and disable the location-saving feature in each of these.
